November Meeting
The November meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 14th from 11am to 1pm at Embassy Suites, 5800 Rockside Woods Blvd, Independence, OH. The meeting will be sponsored by The Shelly Company. Shelly will discuss their plan to produce Hot Asphalt this winter at their two locations in Kent and Cleveland. Jackie Zevenbergen, Stormwater Education Program Manager from Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District, will provide a brief presentation on the stormwater education services they provided to communities in 2018 and the options they offer that count as involvement.
October Meeting/Social
The October meeting/get together at Merwin’s Wharf was sponsored by MTech. It was a great night and we would like to thank them for providing this meet and greet.

The NOSDA Christmas Party will be December 12th. Please mark your calendars, tickets will be available soon.
Training
NOSDA sponsored a Foreman/Supervisor training in October. This training was attended by over 25 people. Please feel free to contact me with feedback from the training or if you have any suggestions for future trainings/workshops at girardi@pepperpike.org. We are always open for suggestions.
Please invite a non-member Service/Public Works Director from a neighboring community to one of our meetings so they can share their knowledge.
